AA Film, Inc. (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”) hereby provides a limited warranty to the owner, ensuring that AA TPU Color Film (referred to as “the Product(s)”) will be free from defects such as yellowing•, cracking, blistering, and delaminating for a period of eight (8) years for vertical’ installing surface and five (5) years for non-vertical’ installing surface (referred to as the “Warranty Period”) from the date of initial installation. This limited warranty is applicable only to the Company’s Products that are professionally installed in accordance with the Company’s recommended guidelines.

Furthermore, the Company explicitly warrants to the owner that the AA TPU Color Film (the “Product(s)”) will be free from additional defects such as oxidation, loss of gloss, UV damage, and fading for a period of five (5) years (referred to as the “Warranty Period”) from the date of initial installation. This limited warranty is applicable only to the Company’s Products that are professionally installed in accordance with the Company’s recommended guidelines.

In the event that the Product fails or does not perform as warranted solely due to a manufacturing defect within the Warranty Period, the Company, at its discretion, will either remove or replace the Product free of charge. If replacement is chosen, the Company will appoint an authorized installer to remove and reapply the Product to areas deemed eligible for coverage under this limited warranty. The Company will not cover the replacement labor costs. The replacement of the defective film is the sole remedy for all Products covered under this limited warranty. During the entire Warranty Period, the Company’s responsibility for repair or replacement is limited to the specific Product that fails due to a manufacturing defect and is further subject to the availability of Products at the time of repair or replacement. Any repaired or replaced product remains subject to the original Warranty Period, and the repair or replacement does not extend the original Warranty Period or initiate a new warranty period. These remedies provided herein are exclusive for all Products covered under this limited warranty.

To avail of coverage under this limited warranty, you must provide the Company with proof of the warranty card, a copy of the original receipt for the Product indicating the covered areas, and a detailed description of the alleged defect. To initiate a claim under this limited warranty, you must notify the authorized Company installer who performed the Product installation in writing. The written notification must include the claimant’s name, phone number, address, installation address (if different), a description of the involved Product, and a description of the defect.

‘For light-colored paint vehicles, the yellowing warranty period is three (3) years.

‘A vertical installing surface refers to the face of Product is less or equal to 10 degrees from vertical.

‘A non-vertical installing surface refers to the face of Product is greater than 1 O degrees from vertical.

DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

.The Company’s Products must be stored, handled, installed, used, and maintained in accordance with the instructions provided by the Company. This limited warranty is contingent upon compliance with all such instructions. WARRANTY COVERAGE

After the installation of Product, the product provides the following quality guarantees within the specified warranty period based on the product category:

  1. The Product’s adhesive performance is guaranteed, ensuring that it does not undergo non-contact deformation, delamination, cracking, or detachment from the vehicle’s surface.
  2. The Product’s appearance is guaranteed not to exhibit significant yellowing (for light-colored vehicles, the yellowing warranty period is 3 years).
  3. The Product is guaranteed to leave minimal residue when removed from the paint surface (exclusion applies to delamination caused by repainting or paint surface scraping).
  4. Original factory paint (metal components) is guaranteed not to experience detachment or damage within five years (exclusion applies to delamination or damage caused by plastic components, repainting, or paint surface scraping). Determination of delamination or detachment of original factory paint (metal components) within five years shall be based on authoritative testing of the paint composition.

After the installation of Product, please pay attention to the following:

  1. Within three days of installation, avoid washing the vehicle (rain is acceptable) and driving at high speeds (below 50 mph/80 kph). To ensure the highest quality performance of the paint protection film, it is recommended to return to the installation company tor inspection and reinforcement of edges and corners after approximately three days.
  2. Damages to the film may occur under the following conditions, requiring timely cleaning:

    a.     Insect remains, bird droppings, tree sap, visible rainwater spots, etc., adhering to the film surface and exposed to high sunlight and temperatures.
    b.     Air conditioning condensation, groundwater adhering to the film surface and exposed to high sunlight and temperatures.
    c.     Overspray from paint adhering to the film surface and exposed to high sunlight and temperatures.
    d.     Grease adhering to the film surface and exposed to high sunlight and temperatures.
    e.     After driving at high speeds in summer, the vehicle is covered with a large number of insect remains. Do not recommend you wash the vehicle immediately, wait until the vehicle’s temperature is at room tempera­ture. Avoid spraying chemical agents such as bug removers on the vehicle surface at high temperatures, as it may immediately damage the film surface.

  3. For vehicles with transparent film applied, do not attach suction cups directly to the film surface, as it may leave suction cup marks.

  4. Wedding ribbons, firecrackers, and makeup may cause staining on the film surface. If stained, please clean it promptly to prevent penetration and staining of the film surface.

  5. For cleaning purposes, it is recommended to use the recommended maintenance wax for optimal results. We suggest maintaining the film every 1-2 months. You can also cautiously choose other neutral cleaning products.

  6. Maintenance wax application process: After washing the vehicle and drying it, use a wax applicator sponge or machine to evenly apply moderate pressure on the film surface. After 1-2 minutes, wipe it with a clean, soft cloth. This maintenance wax can also be used to remove long-lasting white spots on the film surface or vehicle windows. If there are severe stains on either the film surface or glass, clean it multiple times within a month, and you will notice significant results. (Note: Do not polish the film surface or use strong acid or alkaline cleaners, as it may damage the film surface. Any resulting damages are unrelated to the product quality.)

AX Film Paint Protection films serve as a highly effective sacrificial layer, offering robust paint protection.

This limited warranty does not cover defects caused by:

  1. Failure to comply with the Company’s guides or instructions. Such failures include, but are not limited to, exposure to physical abuse (including chemical abuse such as harsh cleansers and solvents), thermal abuse or shock (such as excessive heat or cold), or misuse.
  2. lmproper storage, installation, handling, and/or use of the Product.
  3. Damage not resulting from manufacturing defects occurring while the Product is in the possession of the customer
  4. Unreasonable or unintended use of the Product.
  5. lnstallation of Products with known or visible manufacturing defects at the time of installation, including scratches, scuffs, scrapes, and chips on the painted surface.
  6. Stains and scratches.
  7. Damage to the wrapped surface caused by improper wash techniques, ceramic coating, automatic car washes, or incorrect wash tools that may cause abrasion, or by third parties not authorized by the Company.
  1. Scratches, scuffs, scrapes, and chips on the painted surface.
  2. Water spots – water spots are caused by mineral deposits that may leave a stain if allowed to dry on the paint protection film. Water spots are not covered.
  3. Damage caused by collision, accidental damage, vandalism, fire, hail, flood, surface rust, rail dust, physical damage, paint overspray, or paint manufacturer’s defects, which may be covered under the manufacturer’s protection plan.
  4. Use in non-automotive applications.
  5. Damages caused by external forces, including the physical impact of rocks or road debris.
  6. Any information or suggestion provided by the Company regarding the Products, including applications, specifications, or compliance with codes and standards, is solely for reference purposes and is not guaranteed for accuracy or suitability. You are responsible for verifying and testing the suitability of any information related to the Products for your specific application.

THE WARRANTIES STATED HEREIN ARE THE EXCLUSIVE WARRANTIES MADE BY THE COMPANY IN CONNECTION WITH THESE PRODUCTS. THE COMPANY CANNOT AND DOES NOT PROVIDE ANY IMPLIED OR EXPRESS WARRANTIES REGARDING THE PRODUCT, AND DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. PRODUCTS SOLD BY THE COMPANY ARE SOLD ONLY ACCORDING TO THE SPECIFICATIONS SPECIFICALLY SET FORTH BY THE COMPANY IN WRITING. APART FROM THE LIMITED WARRANTY PROVIDED HEREIN, THE COMPANY DOES NOT MAKE ANY OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. THE COMPANY’S SOLE RESPONSIBILITY UNDER THIS WARRANTY SHALL BE LIMITED TO REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF NON-CONFORMING PRODUCTS, OR, AT THE COMPANY’S DISCRETION, REFUND OF THE PURCHASE PRICE UPON RETURN OF THE PRODUCT. THE BUYER ASSUMES ALL RISKS REGARDING THE USE OF THE PRODUCTS PURCHASED, WHETHER USED ALONE OR IN CONJUNCTION WITH OTHER PRODUCTS OR SUBSTANCES.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

THE BUYER/OWNER’S CLAIMS OF ANY NATURE, INCLUDING INDEMNIFICATION CLAIMS, SHALL NOT EXCEED THE PURCHASE PRICE OF THE PRODUCTS FOR WHICH DAMAGES ARE CLAIMED. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE COMPANY BE LIABLE TO THE BUYER/OWNER FOR ANY SPECIAL, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, RELIANCE, STATUTORY, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, LOST PROFITS, LOSS OF USE, LOSS OF TIME, LOSS OF REVENUES, INCONVENIENCE, LOSS OF BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, DAMAGE TO GOODWILL OR REPUTATION, OR LOSS OF DATA, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES OR IF SUCH DAMAGES COULD HAVE BEEN REASONABLY FORESEEN, ARISING FROM, CONNECTED WITH, OR RESULTING FROM THE SALE, DELIVERY, SERVICING, USE, OR LOSS OF USE OF THE PRODUCTS SOLD HEREUNDER, OR FROM ANY LIABILITY OF THE BUYER TO ANY THIRD PARTY.

ANNUAL INSPECTIONS

Annual inspections are applicable only to additional defects covered within the first three (3) years from the date of initial installation, such as oxidation, loss of gloss, UV damage, and fading. The owner is required to arrange an annual inspection performed by an AX Film Certified Installer, within thirty (30) days before or after the yearly anniversary of the installation date of the application or the last service date. Failure to complete the inspection within the specified time will void coverage for the covered defects under the three (3) year limited warranty. Standard eight (8) year limited warranty does not require annual inspections. The owner is responsible for any fees or charges incurred by the AX Film Certified Installer for the annual inspection, including but not limited to exterior wash, decontamination, and inspection. It is essential to keep proof of all inspections as they must be provided in the case of any Limited Warranty-related issues.
